Menu plan starting 10/11/10

Here's my menu plan for dinners this week.


  • baked ziti, salad
  • blintz loaf, salad
  • chicken. brown rice, potatoes
  • split pea soup, fresh bread, egg salad

I also need to make baby food for Zevi.  I think green beans.

Hmm

Well, I didn't do most of the things on my list for today.  But to be fair, I put in many hours of work that I don't usually do on Sundays.  My brain is numb from all that transcribing, which isn't even my normal field of work.  Close but not quite.

What housework I did accomplish was to get all the clothes into the wash and all but one load into the dryer.  I should be able to get that load into the dryer before I go to bed, though.

Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive.  I hope to:


  • Finish up any laundry and fold all of it
  • wash, stuff and fold the diapers
  • clean my kitchen
  • clear off the dining room table
  • clean the floor under the table
  • make a new menu plan, since I lost my original one for this week
  • go to Sears to pick up pictures
  • call AC guy
  • call appliance repairman
  • possibly go to Costco to buy forks if I can fit it in in between the two little ones' naps

I'm sure there's more I want to do, but let's start with this for now.

Today I want to:


  • Wash all clothing laundry
  • Fold all clothing laundry
  • Wash diapers
  • Stuff and fold diapers and put away
  • Finish cleaning kitchen
  • Clear off dining room table
  • Mop floor near table

Ready, Set, Go

I'm not expecting anyone to ever read this blog.  This is really more for myself.  I need some inspiration, chizuk, et cetera to help me along with my housework and decluttering.  With four children, two of whom are not in school, and working from home, it's hard to get things done.  I make to-do lists, and they sometimes get lost in the shuffle.  This blog is going to be a place for me to post in the morning what I want to get done that day, and then later on come back and report what actually got done (or extra things that happened instead.)  I can also use it to keep track of things that I need, like my menu plans for the week.

If you do stumble across my blog and want to leave a few words of support, or even some organizing or decluttering advice, I'd love to hear it.
